So I finished a poly80 pf940c in 40s&W everything is oem, I bought a used complete upper and a new lower parts kit from brownells. I have tried to do a function test by pulling the trigger holding it then release to hear the reset but the trigger does not reset it stays stuck back. Anyone know what it can be?

Check your connector function while cycling the slide.
The cam track in the slide moves the connector aside to reset the connector so that once the trigger is released, the trigger bar can pickup the camming surface on the connector and the striker again.
Some people don't realize that the connector is SUPPOSED to be bent slightly off of 90 degrees and have bent the connector so it's perfectly 90 degrees.
Of course the connector no longer works after that is done.
You probably need one of the shortened slide covers so you can watch the parts interaction.

It would certainly be a problem if your striker spring were too weak to override your trigger spring.
ALWAYS start with standard parts in a glock to be sure it functions before you start putting in non-standard parts that cause malfunctions.
Only swap out ONE non-standard part at a time into a properly functioning gun.
That way, you can see if the new part causes a malfunction or not.Randall Rausch
