    Canted M&P sight

Had a gunsmith install at Costa Mesa gun show. He said not to adjust front post. It is clearly to the right. I don't understand why he would say that. Should I just take a punch to it? Stupid question and I know the answer is probably yes. Just looking for insight. Thanks.

Be sure to only hit on the dovetail
Not the sight blade. If you have a bore sight just line the sight with the dot. That will get you right & left adjustment. Up & down will be where you place the sight picture. If the rear is adjustable then just adjust it up or down.

Myself I would shoot it first, just the way it is right now.
