Custom thread protector and gun smith

I am looking for someone who can make me a custom thread protector for my LR308 barrel. I have a fulerton armory 24" stainless bull barrel 5/8-24 thread. I bought a YHM thread protector but the over all length is too short. I am in the central valley. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank!

How much length is it short? Could a crush washer fill the gap?

Give me the length and diameter, what material you want it made from and if you want wrench flats or a knurle.
