Selector Stop: Keep 'em or No?

I have an 80% Im planning on putting together and am debating on whether or not to leave the selector stops or grinding them down. My 80% AR10 didnt come with them and it provided more room for "art work"

Just curious what you guys think?

I want 80's as a blank, not a blank canvas. So I'm not much help to you. I wanted 80's specifically to have no markings other than my own discreet identifiers.

So for me, room for art has no value, and thus I would keep them in whatever condition they arrived.

When I say "art work" I mean markings esp those for fire control

Understood. My statement still stands. I don't need such markings. Maybe someone else will chime in with an alternative opinion.

Honestly though, you have a reason you would benefit form taking them off, so why do you need our opinion at all? Why not just go for it?

I suppose I would want them , as when in use for me anyhow .... it's more of a feel than a visual when using , so ........that's me but YMMV
