Yes.
You drive it out from the left side so it comes out of the right side.
The 2nd screw that holds the ramp to the barrel is hidden under the dovetail.

Well couldn't find the screw, called Winchester, mine was brazed on, now got to take to a gunsmith.

If you don't have a screw SHOWING towards the rear, then you have an earlier one that is brazed on.
No need to even drift out the sight blade if there is no rear screw showing.

I sure hope that's not a post war (1952-58) pre-64 model 70 that you are taking the sight off of.

There were some post 64's made with brazed on front sights so hopefully it's one of those.

No i bought it new 2005, the guy at Winchester said they did a run on some brazed ones.
