Bad/Good LPK Ar15

Is there such a thing as a Bad LPK that will give you trouble not counting trigger upgrades. My new build i suspect the hammer/installation is giving me headaches. bolt group comletely freezes up after a misfire. charging handle will not release without the help of a table assist and a slap on the butt stock. Any thoughts much appreciated.

The only time I have had an AR freeze up like that was after running crappy Israeli 5.56 though it.

It could be a number of issues....where do you live.... might be worth it to run the gun into a friendly local OLL store and see if anything sticks out as wrong.

just got back from SOCAL gun here in San Diego, they looked it over and saw no obvious issues. While ammo could be a problem, unfoutrately I have no other ammo to swap out. You are the first one to say this has happened to them.. thanks for the info

Most my AR's are ammo friendly. But I did have one that had issues.
My recommendation is to hit a gunstore and buy 1 box of at least 5 different type of ammo and see if your upper is picky.

Is it new?
5.56 or .223?
What ammo are you shooting?

Try some factory NEW ammo before deciding if the gun actually has a problem.
It's common to run into reloads that are not sized enough and don't fit into guns that are otherwise in good condition.
You usually get a really good deal on those reloads...
