Mounting scope base for long range, is leveling a large concern?

I have searched the internets unable to find the answers I'm looking for, or may just be searching the wrong terms. If anyone has a link to a bread or article that answers my question please share.

    Set up:
1,000 yd goal with R700 SPS Varmint 26" + box mag, free float stock, trigger, custom loads etc.

    Adding:
    20MOA NF steel scope base
Badger Ordnance steel rings (will be lapped though the alignment slugs seem spot on)
SWFA 10x fixed (may switch to 16x fixed)

Question regarding mounting scope base and scope alignment:
-How important (if possible with how the screws hold down the base with bedding of rear base mount) is leveling the scope base compared to the chamber level?
-If the base isn't exactly level side to side but is parallel to the bore will it matter much when leveling the scope in the rings?
-Even if the base isn't exactly parallel to the bore couldn't the offset be corrected by the windage turret?
-All of this considered, if the windage correction is made with turret and the cross hairs are leveled to the bore axis, how much does stressing over my previous questions matter?

Thanks I advance for any insight.

All that matters is that your elevation turret tracks straight up in alignment with your bullets line of departure.
How you get it that way dos not really matter.
Run a tracking test at 100yds all the way up to 10 mils.

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
    Most work performed while-you-wait.
