Since you said the slide was also coated, I would check to see if cerakote was also applied into the safety plunger hole in the slide. The tolerance that was there to begin with might've been taken up by the thickness of the cerakote, if it was indeed applied to that area. That and clean the striker hole also to make sure of the same.

Did the Ceracoat applicator detail strip the slide?
If not, he baked your springs and plastic parts...
Detail strip the slide and inspect the parts.
