Pf90 Spectre full frame stuck slide

My buddy is building a G17 off the Spectre, and the slide will not come off. I'm not familiar enough with Glocks to know what to look for to get it off. It feeds, and does the function check , and drops the pin on a snap cap. NO problem. But the slide hangs up and will not come off! Please need some assistance.
I going to do one next, so I'd like to know why.
    Thanks

A friend had trouble with the screws that hold the locking block in place running into the recoil spring. He dremeled down where they stuck through and that fixed it. It was especially bad when it was time to pull the slide, and worked great once he trimmed them.

^^^^ the slide moves fine. It just won't come back off. And we checked those screws before he put the slide on a week later.

Make sure the trigger is pulled and not reset before disassembly.
With glocks you pull the slide just a little to the rear to make sure the barrel is not grabbing the take down lever. Holding the slide there will allow you to pull down the take down lever and push the slide forward.

Pulling the slide too much to the rear will reset the trigger and that will be holding the striker, so you will not be able to take the slide off.

Make sure you pull the trigger first. Then pull the slide just a bit (1/8" or so) and then pull both sides of the take down lever down. Hold them there and push the slide forward.

You might have to take the slide apart on the frame. Its not hard just be careful to contain the spring.
