It's been a long time since I bought any parts. I had good experience with US Palm 10/30 mags but they don't seem to be available. I see Magpul 10 round mags with no metal inserts and then I see the newer M3 version with metal inserts in 30 rounds that calegal mags has limited to 10 rounds. Can somebody bring me up to speed on mags and other ca compliance issues? Thanks, Bob

If you want lightweight mags, get polymer.
If you want more durable mags, get steel.
The Croatian made steel mags are hit and miss with AK owners.
What AKs are you running OP?Constitutionally, officials cannot license or register a fundamental right.

A couple of Egyptians are what I wanted to get CA compliant mags in, and some friends were asking what I recommended. Way back I had good luck with Promags but the last time I bought some they wouldn't even fit in the mag wells. I don't even remember why right now but I stayed away from Tapcos. I used to have a lot of steel milsurps but they seem to have gotten away from me. I also need to find CA compliant 74 mags.If you can't explain it simply you don't understand it well enough.
