Break Free CLP.. changes?

Well I ran out of my 25 bottles of mini CLP I bought 10 years ago to resell and just recently bought a small 4oz aerosol can of CLP from walmart.. Is it because its aerosol it smells so bad? The liquid bottles have a oil type smell but the ones in the can smell wrank. Its hard to describe. Makes my can of rem oil smell good.

I love the smell of CLP, It can double as perfume. Try a gun shop, I once saw a gallon of it, then refill your small bottles.

I finally got the smell down.. it smells like pesticide. It attacks the back of my throat and it makes my gun smell like crap. I've never had this problem with the non-aerosol version in the mini bottles. I toss the little bottles once they run out since they are just range bag bottles.

I have a bottle of non fragrance but spray that smells Exactly like it.

Try using Slip2000 if you don't like the smell.

+1. I switched from break free clp to slip2000 and never looked back. Good stuff.

My CLP and breakfree bottles smell different. I prefer the breakfree that special night out.

time to switch back I guess.. i honestly choke up when this stuff is sprayed.. my throat closes up and i gotta get out of the room.

Yeah the smell is brutal, makes me miss my hoppes.....that was a smell I could never get tired of.
