Standard 1911 barrel to bull barrel sleeve

Anyone ever make a conical barrel sleeve?

I don't have a lathe, was wondering if anyone would like to trade gold or nickle plating to knock one up?

Doesn't need to be fancy, just a cone thst has the ID of my barrels OD, and a taper, with the last 1 inch or so the diameter of my slides ID (standard Springfield Armory).

Using a cut down slide, I think that will be easier than milling bushing slot.

what do you mean a cut down slide?
And you could try this one:

Simplify your comp changes with EGW's precision fitting conversion cones. Compatible with various materials and threaded for easy installation. Perfect for your bull barrel upgrades.

We make coned barrels from scratch. In fact, we machined out a portion of the barrel forging that just won Bianchi (which ultimately became a bushing barrel)
