    Anodizing - Need a recommendation

Hey y'all - I'm looking for an anodizer that can help me finish an in-the-raw receiver and buffer tube.

The local shops in Santa Clara are not accepting firearm pieces for finishing, and US Anodizing just picked up a big contract that is going keep them tied up for a bit.

I seem to be running out of leads. Any help is appreciated

I was in the same situation a few years ago and US Anodizing was one of the places I contacted. They told me they wouldn't anodize a low receiver unless it had some kind of a serial number on it, so I told them "thanks anyway".

I got so frustrated that I ended up doing it myself. It's sort of a hassle, but if you get to the point where you decide to do it yourself, let me know and I'll post detailed instructions as to how I've been anodizing low receivers.

Google search for "anodizing bay area" returns several leads in Silicon Valley (and the Bay Area as a whole.)

Im not trying to be a richard but im sure he knows how to use google and dial on his phone.
What he wants is first hand experience some one else had gone through and found a place that accepts 80% builds for anodizing as many and i mean many companies refuse to even talk about.
And for the OP sorry i havent had any luck wither but let us know who you find i am too interested.

Since he exhausted his known possibilities, quickest way would be to call and talk to the shops. Especially since nobody else has posted a known accommodating business in several days.
