    What should I do?

So I have a brand new 1911 9mm un-ramped complete parts kit. This thing is unfired and complete except for a stripped frame. Should I hunt down an 80% frame and build this thing up or should I just sell the parts kit? Except for time the building is easy enough, but I know it would sit as a parts kit on the shelf for a while.

Is there a market for the parts kit or should I just shut up and build the darn thing...

Be honest with yourself if you will finish the project.

I still have projects from the 1990's that I absolutely am going to finish some day.

If I decide to build it I will finish the project, that is not the issue. I hate to have projects sit on the shelf for any amount of time so I will get it done... I am impatient that way.

It is an unmarked rock island frame. I can just "drop it in" to a standard 1911 frame, but that would not utilize the rest of the parts. If I sell it I would ask $400, but I am not there yet... and I am sure I can get more if need be...

I thought about that as soon as I wrote it, haha...

Hopefully a range report will be posted for us to see whether it is "inexpensive", or "cheap". Given kcstott and tr6guns' reputation, they will do a good job with fitting to remove installer error out of the equation.

Yep, Sigs have one of the best factory barrels of any mass production brand.
                              And at $40, Holly Shiite!
