    AR-15 trigger reset problems

Hi, first post ... hope it's in the right place. My 9mm AR that I built is having trigger reset problems. JP EZ trigger. It shot flawlessly for the first 600-700 rds but now the trigger won't reset after the round is fired. I can see the hammer getting retained by the disconnector. This could be easily fixed by the adjustment screw however it is red loctited. Any suggestions? I think filing one of them a tiny bit would fix it but is that a smart move? What about blow torching the screw loose? Thanks!

hot soldering iron or heat gun
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
    I'm Back.

Look for debris under the trigger, like from a popped primer or perhaps you changed grips and the grip screw is hitting the trigger.
If the setscrew is loctited and you can't turn it, it didn't move from the initial adjustment and should be left alone.
Next thing to look for is a trigger spring that it too light to overcome the friction of the disconnector hook holding the hammer.
Grease the disconnector hook and it will release easier.
