    P80 PF940Cv1 Compact

These should start shipping next week. Who has one (or more) on order and where? I have 2 textured on order from Brownells. They had a deal for $35 off $350 and free shipping so I ordered 2, a few mags and a 30275 trigger housing to get to $350.

I have a g19 slide and an AA .22 conversion kit with 2 lpks ready and waiting

Should be interesting to see how the pf940c turns out. Our shipment hasn't come yet but we're just as eager as everyone else.

I bought a G23 slide off eBay a while back in anticipation of this getting released.

So about $80 for the lower parts kit, $280 for the complete upper, and maybe by tomorrow I get the frame for $150.
That's about what I could get a G23 for. Do you think it'll be worth it?

I hope so. My PF940 build turned out great and had no issues. Well, the first round stovepiped but I blame my 1 handed limp wristing technique. 1 round in the mag and protecting my face with my free hand while firing the first time . Ran flawless after that.

I got my G19 slide for $350 and the AA kit for $220. The LPK for both were under $60 ea. I think it's worth it for a unique pistol. And I like building stuff like this so it's more of a hobby.

If your goal is simply to end up with a Glock 23 the least expensive way you can, you are better off just buying one.
If your goal is to make something yourself with less regard for price, overall quality or warranty support, build it yourself.

I think Polymer80 and Rainier arms are now the same.

I'll take the plunge soon enough with the compact model. I was a pre-sale buyer the first go 'round, I'll wait for the 1.5 version on the compact.
