front sight issue

the front sight on my pistol is loose in the dovetail and moves around, ideas on a fix?

Remove it flar the base and reinstall.

Use a pr!ck punch to put a dimple or two in the base of the dovetail atop the slide. This will "tighten up" the dovetail when re-installing the sight.

Blue loctite.

***** punch the underside of the dight dovetail or the bottom of the the slot in the slide. Conventional wisdom is modify the least expensive part first.
