I was thinking of polishing my glock barrel and I was wondering if anyone has done this them self. If anyone has I was wondering what method you used to strip the barrel. Any info helps thanks

Youtube has a couple techs, thing is you can get a lone wolf, kkm, or wilson etc used for around $100 and keep your stock barrel for back up. -
what bout the barrel loop on the slide that contacts the barrel? is there a need to polish that too? thoughts?Comment

Did one of mine last weekend. Self adhesive 220 grit stuck to popsicle sticks, followed by 2000 grit, followed by some metal polish that i had. Spent maybe 4 hours. Not quite mirror finish, but should give me the look that i am after.
Slide is out getting some custom milling work. So, cant speak on functionality yet. Worst case scenario, can get a replacement as mentioned above.
Picture doesn't do it justice.

Worst advice ever. After you "polish" the internal parts, buy new parts, you ruined them.
Throw the Dremmel tool away.
There is nothing you can improve on a Glock. Leave it alone.Comment
