Just inherited my grandfather's service pistol from WW2.
Contractor who did work for my grandmother had gotten his hands on it but I leaned on him pretty hard and got it back. When I did. The slide was "repaired" and as I see it, destroyed.
Since those pistols were so mixed up over time. The slide is not so important if I can aquire one of that erra to refurbish it.
It's a Colt made in 1914 but issued during WW2.
So, long story Long..... anyone know where I can aquire a new slide to do the repair?
