Radiation concern with Glow Sight

I purchased a HIVIZ glow sight for my Ruger LCR. I installed it successfully except I slightly dented or damaged it in the process as you can see on the picture I've attached the posting, hopefully the picture is clear enough.

My concern is being exposed to radiation. I know I should have had a gunsmith with the appropriate tools install the product I know better now.

What are your guy's take on this?

Don't ingest it, you'll be fine.
The feds won't let you have too much radiation in a given day unless they deliver it to you.

Common seriously? I will admit I'm new to all this and these sights do make it easy for me to see a target. If it really is a major concern then I will have it removed immediately.

If it was a tritium sight you would have been exposed immediately. Tritium is a gas and you would have had to break the vial to get any.

thats a plastic fiber optic sight. only harmful if you swallow it.

OP, you know the page that's at the link you posted? You see where it says "It comes with green, red, or orange, fiber optic family LitePipes"?

As others have mentioned, those have no active illumination = are not night sights, no radiation to worry about. XS Big Dot is what I run on my LCRs. These are Tritium powered...

I took the gun to my gunsmith and he confirmed that the contents where leaking out slowly. So I'm having him put the standard sight back on and throw away the HIVIZ sight.

Lesson learned to not install accessories without the proper tools.
