Mauser Scope Mount - drilled or undrilled?

I have a commercial FN 98 Mauser action and want to install a scope. Since it has holes already drilled into the top of the receiver, I think I should order mounts without holes pre-drilled to make sure it matches. Is my thinking correct on this?

Huh?.... the scope mount pattern is standardized on commercial mausers you should be good to go with any mounts advertised as commercial Mauser

      How many holes total?? three.

a standard leupold set should work $60-$70 for rings and base.

Just wanted to say thank you and that you are spot on. The Nightforce one piece four hole mount bolted right onto my commercial Mauser action.

There are plenty good options out there. I have a 70's parker hale .30-06 (Santa Barbara commercial 98 mauser action). I want to say it takes #45 and 46 weaver mounts. They are fantastic, simple actions. Best of luck!
