    Series 80 80% frames

Hi all I'm thinking of doing a straight pull series 80/90
1911. The reason for series 80/90 is i plan on using a Sig
.22 kit it will come with the slide barrel basically everything but the frames parts. I already have the Matrix rail cutter and would like a frame that's compatible with it. I did do some research
and only found one frame that actually said it's a series 80 but
it's a long slide and won't work for me unless I mill off some of the length if this is even possible.

    TIA

What frame did you find for a long slide? Another option is just taking the firing pin lock thingy on the .22 slide so it works for a 70 series frame. But if you really want an 80 series frame vytamenc tactical have 80 series frames but they are SS

I am ashamed that I have no idea what you guys are talking about. What is a straight pull 1911?

I'm not very knowledgeable yet on the 1911s so I don't want to
        complicate things for myself

The Sig 22 kit is a 1911 conversion but for series 80 or 90
          1911s

          Straight Pull / bolt action

Pretty sure it was 1911 builders steel frame.
And I just finished a commander on a 1911 builders series 80 railed steel frame.
