AK gunsmiths?

Are there any gunsmiths in CA who specialize in AK clone builds? If so, who and where are they? I have a non-matching number kit and would like to have it headspaced by a pro.

Guerrilla headspacing for the AK:

Clean the barrel and chamber like you normally would.
Remove the extractor from the bolt.
Insert a go gauge of the caliber you have.
The bolt should lock up with ease.
Insert a no go gauge.
The bolt should close with some difficulty or not at all than with the go gauge. Defiantly should have more resistance than the go gauge.
Take the no go gauge and put two strips of plain old masking tape on the bottom. Trim so there is no extra sticking out past the edge.
Insert the no go gauge with the tape on the bottom.
The bolt must not close at all when you try and close it.

When you reach civilization take it to a gunsmith.

To the OP http://prkarms.orge mail Jeff or Minder and see if they can send you to somebody local to your location. They are in the process of moving the shop and might be a bit busy. They are both good guy's and have a knowledge of compedent AK builders who may be able to help you out.
