Quality barrel wrench, vice block adapters for AR?

Not really sure what I should be looking at, but where do I want to look if I want to find some good quality tools to do basic upper receiver work?

Any tool recommendations... Barrel wrench, castle nut, vice block adapters for AR?

For a barrel wrench, try to find one that has more than 2 contact points. Also, if you're using a freeflot handguard, most of the time they come with the barrel nut wrench.

      Where? Brownells.

DPMS Claw is my preferred receiver block.
The Magpul wrench looks real nicely designed, though I have not used it as I still have not worn out my 15yr old DPMS wrench or my $6 Rock River castle nut wrench.

I have two barrel nut wrenches I like, every other barrel nut wrench I've tried to use has failed me in some way.

        1. USGI that I bored out to fit over float tubes.
        2. Aluminum tube with three flats and just big enough to fit over float tube nuts with hardened pins. I made this when a friend still had my USGI wrench, I like it better.

I also have a vicegrip chain wrench for cylindrical parts. It takes "touch" to set it right and not deform thin AR parts but it works brilliantly.
weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

The Magpul wrench is indeed REALLY nice.

I'm also a fan of the JP Universal Vise Clamps for flat-top uppers. I expect ar15barrels will let me know if these are contraindicated for some reason.

            Those look nice.
I have the same thing with PRI's aluminum blocks.
They used to sell separate ones for the top and bottom of an upper receiver.
            I have both of those.
