I used McMaster, was considering Enco if McMaster didn't have the sizes I needed.

I just bought 2 long 3/8" 2 flute single end mills from Marshalls in Chatsworth for 17 bucks total. They are on Lurline just south of Nordhoff. PM tools was out of them in HSS.

Called knowing what you're looking for and searching for it.

Mcmaster carr, MSC, Enco, if you want to pay full price for something you're not going to use enough to get the benefit from.

Ebay would be my top pick for a situation like this.

I agree but here my town we have a tool maker that makes them but still very expensive. eBay is the place.
Even Grainger carries them but they're expensive

That depends on how your doing the lowers.

If your using jig and router, then eBay is the place for cheap low quality end mills that you can trash.

If your using a mill, then I wouldn't even look at eBay. Get something quality.

McMaster is to easy to add all kinds of fun stuff.

You can find lots of quality endmills on ebay if you know which ones are quality and which are junk. Enco mostly sells Atrax solid carbide endmills which I think are pretty low end. One of my guys turned me onto design-rite I was super impressed at how a three flute ZRN coated end milled performed compared to an ENCO two flute Atrax.
