1911 to 1903 hammerless conversion

So I stumbled across this article and thought it was an amazing idea. And am now going to start a new project.

My question is though has anyone thought about this and or attempted it??

And if you have attempted did what frame, cal, slide, Barrel did you end up using?

I think I am going to shop around 80% frames and see what I like best
Actually I love TM's Frames but not sure about the tac rail on a pocket pistol.

Also any and All feedback would be cool eh ehm (kc,Bdave,vader,Etc...)
