Requiring simple AR-15 work (so simple I should probably do it myself).

I heard Lock stock and Barrel has opened up a gunsmithing shop in Simi Valley, Lsbauctions.com, nothing on the website so far but Ive had them do some work for me in the past

My buddy Lew started LSB a handful of years ago and has been bringing me work for the shop for years.
He was last here about a week ago.
They don't do walk-in sales or service.
What they do is buy collections and re-sell them through various auction services.

Well I figure I might as well hop onto this thread since we're getting some replies to it. Does anyone know of a gunsmith who operates near the Azusa/Pasadena/San Gabriel area who can work on Desert Eagle pistols?

I'm having an issue with my hammer, it appears to be striking the ammo very lightly, barely making an indentation on the primer cup and ultimately not firing the rounds. Either a hammer spring or something wrong with the firing pin assembly, but I can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone know a gunsmith not too backed up who can successfully take a gander at it?

I wonder why they sold all of Jim Hoag's machinery then.
I only know because I brokered one of the deals.

I went over and saw it with my own two eyes. They sold a bunch of stuff they couldn't use. Doesn't mean they aren't doing it. Drive over..but don't make it sound like I don't know what I'm talking about.
