    Commander sized 2011...

I am considering using one of the Limited 10 aluminum frames I have here to build up a Commander length 2011 in 9mm. Has anyone else done this? I think its pretty straightforward but then I always think that and end up with some weirdness.

Just remember that if it is a gi frame you will need to modify the frame for the commander setup. If I remember correctly there is a difference with the vertical impact area being set back farther. You need to check the specs for both frames.

that does raise an interesting point though, I will have to have a Wilson/Nowlin ramped commander length barrel to work with the frame.. and I kind of want to do a bushingless barrel setup as well, so this could get interesting. Might need to all Nowlin in the AM
