Would have been good to do before I had the frame finished.

I don't think it would look right in-the-white.

By the way, CCR did touch the checkering. As I have possibly mentioned before, my lines toward the bottom of rear were dropping. I think the grip was filed down and checkering was recut by CCR, which is very nice of them except the one line where they messed up. Kind of the same as the one line was messed up on that Wilson checkered beretta in a different thread. In any case, I don't remember how they looked before and am happy with how it turned out

            Hey, Mosin.
That's some very nice hand work you're doing. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that this isn't the first time you've pushed a file.

Right now I'm doing some hand work on the mechanics of an inexpensive 1911. It's nice to have a better gun when it's finished, but thrill of creating and learning is the real prize.

            Thanks for sharing your work.

Thank you. Yes, I enjoy working with files. And I completely agree about the satisfaction that follows.

Ahhh, you could check it out when you and your buddy come out to Angeles... LOL.

I will take it out this weekend probably.

Hi there Mr. Virus. I've been a long time watcher of all the utube vids. They are all awesome. Please keep up the good work. I can't wait to see the Beretta 92 finally. Thanks again!
