    Claw Mount on CETME Sporter

So I happen to have myself one of those Century CETME Sporter rifles that everyone loves to hate. I also just got a UTG claw mount for it.

Problem is: when I install the mount, I can't pull the bolt back. I haven't played with it that much yet, but I'm guessing the mount is squeezing the cheap Century receiver inward just enough to squeeze the bolt carrier on the way back, jamming things up.

Anyone else run into this problem before? Any suggestions as to where to start fixing the problem? (besides getting a non-Century gun)

I would fit the mount, or try a different one. Another thing to look at is the rear sight base. If your rifle does not have the locking tab for the claw mount it will shift forward under recoil.

Heat treat the top of the receiver you are trying to mount the claw to?

Weld a rail on top like a PTR?
