    Saiga receiver hole weld up

I have one last thing to do to my beloved Saiga and that is have the extra receiver holes welded up so I can finally refinish it and be done with a 5 year project. Any suggestions on who can do this PROPERLY with TIG or MIG? I live in Orange County so they must be within an hours drive of O.C.

Looks good Randall. So how much to weld holes and bead blast the barreled receiver so I can refinish it? And when can I get a mid-morning appointment?

The pricing of welding is on akbarrels.com
The blasting cost is based on time it takes.
My first mid-morning openings are August 9th and 11th.

Back the holes with a piece of brass and mig weld the holes up. Grind down and refinish.

            That's what you see above.
I use a copper backer though.

"My first mid-morning openings are August 9th and 11th". OK Randall . Pencil me in for August 9 at 10am or thereabouts. If you have an opening earlier than that let me know.
