If you did all of that with a BB tool, I would think twice about taking a drill to your lower. Definitely visit a gunsmith.

but ive seen / heard people using a heat gun to heat up the adhesive loctite on the screw/thread while using the bb tool.

this is especially common on M&P lowers

              How the...

At this point, that is so chewed up that you will need someone with a special skill set to get that out.

Ummmmm what kind of tool did you use to do that!? If your good you can drill it out with a bit that is the size of the inside dia of the hole as to just drill and remove the threads. But since you did that to it already your better off going to a locksmith

Did you install it or you bought with BB installed? If bought there may be some locktite on it, heat it up with a soldering iron till you see smoke then have it with the tool.

Get one of these should last a long time (unfortunate for us).

                    Removing bb

Stick a flat head screwdriver in that hole and push it through. You should see the other end of he mag catch come out and spin that part off.

The fix is to drill out the mag catch from the OTHER side of the receiver and then push everything out.

Should have used search first or asked drilled the wrong side.
