    revolver trgger issue

i have an old top break S&W when you pull the trigger the cylinder rotates as it should and the gun would fire if it was loaded. However, the trigger just stays there. It doesnt pop back so you can fire again. I can manually pop it back into firing posistion and then fire again. Same thing , stuck, up against the trigger guard. like some girls i new in high school. lol help please, not with the girls too late for that. As the great John Wayne said in True Grit, "Im just a little indifferent about females these days" Would you Ripleys beleive it or not, that was John waynes only oscar winning performance in over 300 movies... True or false

Sounds like you have a broken rebound spring, which is what pushes the trigger back after firing.

It is either a v spring or flat spring located under trigger guard depending on model - Most likely e-gunparts will have one -- relatively simple to replace --
