If a Norinco Sporter was purchased in 1994 February, does it need a Bullet Button?

I think all Norinco's were banned by name. A bullet button will not make it legal. To be sure, check the "CA Semiauto Ban(AW) ID Flowchart". Click on the link up above (in the blue strip, to the right of Home and right under My ITrader).
PS - If it is banned by name, and I'm pretty sure it is, we'll assume that it is out of state and will never be mentioned again.Comment

Yes, you are right, the Sporter was a workaround for the CA 1989 & Fed 1994 AWB. However, the CA Nazi's corrected their oversight and added it to the CA list in 2000, if I remember this correctly. See the AWB flowchart & list in the link that I mentioned above.Comment
