Question on Aimsmall 80% jigs

I'm looking for a jig to finish a Quentin Defense 308 lower I bought a few years ago in a group buy. A fellow Calgun member has an Aimsmall jig for sale, and there is a detailed thread about using it here: Aimsmall_Jig_Guide

I'm looking to complete the job with a small laminate router (DWP611.) The thread makes no mention of the use of a router - it shows drilling only, and the assembled jig in the pictures shows socket-cap bolts and pins that would prevent the use of a router and getting the correct depth control.
Does anyone have any input on this - are these jigs router-compatible ?

I tried messaging Aimsmall, but get no response (I think they are out of business.)

What other options are compatible with the QD lower if it turn out the Aimsmall jig is not? I see QD have their own, but it is out of stock. Any others ?

The pockets are the same. Its the trigger pins and selector hole that's in a different location. The aimsmall jig was the only one that had the QD pattern on one side of the jig.

So only Aimsmall and QD's own jig will work with this lower - I think that is what you're saying.

what about using a router with the Aimsmall jig ?

Aimsmall jig was designed before the router method. you would have to design your own top plate.
I did mine a few years ago on a mill. I was not aware that QD finally came out with their own jig.

The QD jig looks a lot like the Aimsmall one, it may have the same issue that it can't be used with a router due to the socket-cap bolts not being flush.

Anyone tried a Modulus Arms jig ? They claim to fit any 308 lower.

The Aimsmall jigs are very well made, but are not designed
to work with routers, they are designed to work with a drill
press and cross slide or a milling machine.

IIRC, the QD 80% 308's lowers have the safety selector hole
set to a specific location that varies from the typical DPMS
pattern...The Aimsmall jig will however work with BOTH
patterns of lowers.
