Galil muzzle break options?

Hi guys, building an R4- galil clone and need to find a 4" muzzle extension to keep the folding stock with the 18" barrel. Does anyone know where I can find one or of someone who can make one?

I make muzzle brakes. do you know the thread size?? do you want an extended version of the standard brake or do you have something else in mind.

Hi, Either an extended version of the original or some other design that you would recommend would be ideal. This is the info from Apex on their barrel

These are 18 inches long, profiled for GALIL AR/ARM rifles and threaded at the muzzle to accept the factory flashider (13x1mm RH)

try a Galil sniper muzzle brake. CNC Warrier, Blackthorn or Gun Broker

CNC Warrior makes a good 13x1mm to 1/2-28 adapter:

You can run it with any AR15 muzzle device. DPMS used to sell an extended FH, but it looks like they discontinued it.

Eyeballing this - I would guess this along with the adapter might give you the 4" of added length for CA compliance?

Thank you sir! Was going to have sledgehammer on fal files do the build just so the head spacing would be right. Iv built several FALs before but the galil is a new beast for me and I'm not too certain how to attack it.

13x1 is really close to 1/2x28. I just greased up a bushmaster 5" at flash hider and screwed it on then back off then back on. no stripped threads and looks good.

Thanks gents for the help. Sort of walked into a NOS R4 parts kit here while on vacation. Just missing some minor bits.
