    Bomar micro dot adapter

I decided to put a fastfire 3 on a long slide 1911 and am on a quest to find an adapter to the current bomar cut on the rear of the slide. I got the JP adapter which seems well made but it hangs out on both side and just looks fugly. Any ideas outside of milling the slide itself? I'd like to keep the bomar rear cut so I can swap if I ever felt like it.

That's the only one I've ever seen for the Bomar cut. I got the same one for my Novak cut and felt the same way. It's just too much extra material under the red dot. Ended up ditching it, will mill slide next time around

i haven't and don't want to just start buying them all without asking about fit. I may end up just milling the JP adapter. Plus the Burris one comes with interchangeable dovetails which sounds like a good idea on paper but just introduces another potential point of movement between the plate and dovetail.
