Help - frozen bolt

I have a frozen bolt on my AR rail. I was wondering if there are anyone in the Sacramento area that can help with the removal of the bolt. A way to cut away, a shop that can cut it off... Something... I am in the Sacramento area and any and all info would be great!

Have you tried wd40 for about 20-30 minutes and then a torch?

Lets see, what bolt are we talking about here?

Heat.

Is recessed (grip bolt) or flush and you could possible slice it and turn it into a flat edge head.

I used a small torch and the blaster... Still no luck. I think the bolt needs to be drilled out. It's the bolt closest to the head.

find a TORX bit thats slightly larger than the SHCS size and drive it into the stripped socket head then bust it loose.

It's not stripped, amazingly... I am still able to get the bit deep into the screw. It just won't turn. I'll try that tool from Amazon. Have you tried that tool with success?

Sounds like someone put loctite on the threads. A torch on the bolt head and around the handguard for about 2-4 minutes should break it loose. can't use a small lighter torch though. Get a full size one like the ones they use for copper solder

Or if you have a soldering iron, that works too.

The other thought is that you just can't get enough torque on it using a screwdriver-like tool. Have you tried a normal "L" shaped allen wrench ?

I bent my "L" shaped tool. I used a blue bernz-o-matic, I'll try a yellow. Thanks for all the help guys

More leverage than the screwdriver can provide. also did you use a loctite on it?

Take that bit off, put it on a drill on low speed?

Clamp a large pair of vice grips the the handle for leverage?

Heat like I said above?

I didn't put loc-tite. I got it like this I want to swap out the rails... Then I ran into this.
