Stevens 311E barrels

I've been looking for a set of replacement 12ga. barrels for this SxS. I know it's not a high end gun but I got it as a wedding gift from my best friend, unfortunately he had the mind to cut the barrels down to 18" when he was younger... I've looked high and low and missed a set on Flea bay a year ago(didn't think anyone else would bid . My question to the smiths here is what other brand and model was this sold as and what else will fit? I know I'll have to fit the new barrels and plan to use the old barrels as a receiver stub for a .45-70 side by side project. Thanks in advance for any help !!

Savage, Stevens, Springfield, Fox were all under the same roof at one time.

They were also marketed by Sears under the Jc higgens and Ted Williams brands, Western Auto also shows up from time to time.

I'd buy a complete gun just to have a full set of parts on hand. $300 would get you one in decent shape.

That helps, I know that I've seen and heard of "Fox" but not the others. I have a serious problem with gun "parts" laying around, I can never see parts without building a working gun from them, and yeah it's cost me lots of monies !

To be clear, it's the Fox model B that was prettier version of the 311 but same mechanicals. There are AH Fox and Fox Sterlingworth that are much different.

I think price alone would keep him from confusing a Fox with a AH fox,

I don't think there is a part on an AH fox that you could buy for $300 Maybe the front sight bead or screws
