    Its the solvent they use , causes smog/cancer I guess . I just pick some up while out of state visiting relatives in the "free " states.

            Well, I've used it years ago refinishing quite a few gun stocks, and I was diagnosed with cancer last year. Draw your own conclusions... I don't wish to die anytime soon so I'm going to stay away from these things, and solvents in general as much as I can now.

              The only way you can get it these days is through ebay, most of the big outfits like Midway, Cabellas, Woodcraft, Brownells, ect, will not ship to Tru-oil to CA anymore.
