Double ejection

Put in some base pads, followers, and extra power springs in my sons GSG.

The only malfunction he's having, is it will fire, eject spent case and also eject the following round, slide closes empty.

Any tips, tricks, advice? I was thinking about clipping a few coils off the spring.

Does this happen with every fully loaded mag ? & on all mags you modded ?

Are mags all the same ?

I'm no expert, so gonna guess here.

With out seeing it, I'll say possibly (maybe) a spring issue, or maybe the feed lips on mag just can't hold it in line the whole way though to chamber with this added pressure from your new springs.

Can you slowly close the slide on full mag and see if this^^^is so.

Just a thought here, but what was wrong with original magazine springs ?

Mags/base pads/springs all the same. Yes, happens with every fully loaded mag.

I'm thinking its a mag retention problem, as well. I'll have to really examine the lips and see why it's not holding the following round.

Nothing wrong with original mag springs. Just wanted to rebuild with fresh parts.

maneuvered the mag lips inwards, and it's all good now.
