Bit of a drive, but he will work while you wait.
Just tell him not to Chazz it up.

I can do it. I am licensed so you can send it to me so you only have to drive to UPS, and no, you can't watch or have me do it while you wait.
Rule of thumb for requests like yours... you can have it fast, cheap, and done right. Pick two.Comment

Get the rail and then schedule a time to come over.I have an old, but near mint Ruger MKii, 5.5" Bull Barrel.
It did not come tapped from the factory, and I would like to install a Ruger Factory Rail.
I have not ordered the rail (yet).
I'm sure it's probably a simple, Gunsmith 101 type project, but I want it done right. Can you suggest anyone?
I don't mind driving, but I'd prefer to avoid two trips.
In other words, if I need to drive an hour +, I'd prefer it if the Smith could do it while I wait.
I can do it while you wait.Randall Rausch

The "top end" of a Ruger Auto is the serialized part so it's the "receiver", and the frame is not. The opposite of a 1911.Comment
