does anyone make a bullet button for 1911

Does anyone make a bullet button for the 1911? Or does anyone have any ideas of how to make one? Would love to use a mechtech upper in CA but can not do it without a BB. Thanks for any information or ideas.

Take standard mag release, grind the release side that you depress to where it sits below the frame. That should work

^ Mec-tech carbine / rifle conversion most likely.

With the 1911 receiver attached, it has a "protruding pistol grip" so it has to have a mag lock so it is not an AW.

Grip wrap is also an option.

According to the media, it would convert the firearm to full auto...

Don't post such thing on the interweb. it gives the whack jobs in sac ideas on what to legislate against.

Would a bullet button allow the use of a threaded barrel on a 1911?

I do believe so since it is a fixed magazine the threaded barrel restriction should not apply

You can't have a threaded barrel on a revolver, can you?

according to the flow chart the order of features goes like this.

Semi Auto? then is ask for detachable mag and threaded barrel,

so based off the flow chart yes you can have a threaded barrel on a revolver.
