Calguns would be worse off with the loss of Randall. He has helped many for free and his advise is invaluable. People need thicker skin.
I have only met him a couple times, but he strikes me as no nonsense and completely willing to help when you might have a broken piece of metal as an alternative.
In every interaction with him, he has been helpful and above cool. I dont know how anyone can get offened with in 1 or 2 sentences, which is all he usually gives.
Personally, I could care less about how rude he is or isnt. My only concern is, "can ya fix it." His answer is always, Yes.

First, it is "Randall", not "Randell"...

Second, I've shot with Randall (CAPRC), learned from him the finer points of precision/tactical long range shooting in classes, and personally had him work on several rifles for me and other odds and ends. His one-sentence answers are almost always spot on and to the point, rather than some others who writes books for responses and never get around to actually answering questions. I don't know why Randall gets banned, but people really do need to grow thicker skin and reserve judgement until you meet the person (I know it is hard for an internet forum, but I've personally met quite a few Calgunners over the years)... I've seen people who are major trolls roaming these forums without consequence, but yet people like Randall who get banned simply because they don't instill warm and fuzzy feelings when they share their knowledge...

If he did get banned, that's a shame. I would like to see people that actively contribute to the community (people like Randall) get more leeway than off-topic jokers that never actually get out and do anything. Yet somehow we have people that treat the entire site like their own personal commentary board and might not even own a gun based on their posts.
