I screwed up my first 80% lower and need help!!

Hello all,

After milling out my 80% lower, I noticed what appeared to be a bur in the safety selector detent hole.

So what did I do!!??

I ran a drill through it not realizing it had a step inside the bore!

So now I'm afraid that when I install the safety and detent, there will be too much play in the safety.

Is there a way to fix this or did I make an expensive paperweight?

I have fixed a couple of 80% lowers that were supplied by the factory that way - and they are exactly perfect after the fix.

Or if you have a lath that is an easy pin to make oversized
