    Smith & Wesson M & P 15

I'm going to buy a California compliant Smith & Wesson M&P15 rifle with the 'bullet button'.
I plan on moving out of state next year. When I do, is the rifle easily convertable back to normal configuration?

Yes. The most common type requires a small screwdriver to remove and then replace with standard mag release button and spring. Try installing the radlock version if you want to go back and forth without replacing parts.
