1911 Question

So... I am definitely not an authority on 1911s, but I would look at the engagement surfaces for sure. Specifically at the hammer hook height and the sear relief cut as well as main cut.

Thanks for all the help. I'm making a sear jig at work, but in the mean time I carefully honed/polished the hammer hooks and main sear cut, I've read to many horror stories about people buggering up sears with out a jig, so for now just a light polish, and I did hone a relief or breakaway cut as there was none on the original sear.

The main sear cut is not perfect, but I'm not going to do anything else to it until I get my sear jig made. The trigger pull is quite nice, as it is now, I would estimate about 4 lbs, no creep, and no hammer follow. I'll still get that sear jig made, when I can sneak it in at work, but I'm not in as much of a hurry now.
