I just received my Henry 1860 from Kittery Trading Post and waited 10 days for it's arrival. I just came back from the gun store I had it shipped to and inspected the rifle . It is a brand new Henry that just came out of the box. It is made by Uberti. I could not turn the loading area/barrel. It did have some caked on oil at the muzzle where the loading indicator is. I followed all the directions in the manual and still could not get it to turn. Anyone out there familiar with the Henry have any thoughts? I unfortunately live in California so I have to wait ten days to get my hands on it again. Thanks for any advice.
