I have a jig to do it for my guns, it takes a few different gas blocks but not all as some OD's are different.

I would ask whoever is doing it for you if they provide the gas block and if not what one to get.

The only issue is that to do it right, I'll need both the dimple jig and the pin jig, plus reamer for the pin hole, etc.
The cost of the jigs and tools basically add up to the cost of shipping two (2) barrels to ADCO.[/url]

Probably cheaper to just come see me for 15 minutes.

Randall is right. I am all for the DIY obviously but sometimes its better to take something somewhere.

Think about it, how many times will you need the tools VS what he charges.

I charge $20 to detent a barrel to correctly locate the block AND cross pin a gas block.
I doubt you can even buy the tools for that.

Never mind the jigs, your right the tools themselves are more then $20.

I use a #2 center drill and a 5/32" cobalt drill bit to detent the barrel and then a 1/8" carbide ball endmill, a #30 drill bit and a 0.1247" chucking reamer for the cross pinning job.
