Stones?

I have them. They don't hold up that well. They will groove pretty easy. I use them to put an edge on chisels.http://m.harborfreight.com/catalogse...rpening+stones
Try Brownells or EncoBeen gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

I think the HF ones will do as I need them for trigger jobs on two rifles right now, dont need a lot of life out of them for now.Comment

I learned a few things when i worked in a tool room
Thing is good stones are cheep to for $20-$30 you can get a few of each grit in various sizes.
$50 in stones will last a lifetime.
Sad thing is, OP wants a set of stones, now we find out that harbor freight is good enough & he's going to do a trigger job. Now I realize everyone has to start somewhere but if you knew WTF you were doing you'd already have stones, because a trigger is not the place to start learning on.Last edited by kcstott; 06-24-2015, 11:57 AM.Comment
